Logistics:

Date & Time: Sunday, February 1, 9:30 AM - 2:00 PM*
Location: The Collector’s Room (2122 Freedom Dr, Charlotte, NC)
Price: $185/person

*2:00 - 2:30 PM: plan for a 30 minute bonus session for moms + girls who attend together

What to Expect:

Both summits take place at The Collector’s Room, running at the same time, in separate spaces. Girls connect with peers and Mentors (more about them below!), while moms have their own day to engage with experts and each another. Each group enjoys meaningful sessions designed just for them, leaving the day feeling inspired, supported, and renewed.

Check out FAQs below to learn more specifics about the day or email us with your questions!

  • No. Moms can attend on their own, and girls can attend on their own. Each group has a full, independent summit experience with time dedicated just to them. Moms of boys and moms of younger/older kids are welcome too!

  • Moms and girls spend most of the day in separate summits. Moms are downstairs with expert speakers and girls upstairs with peers and mentors. If attending together, they unite for a 30-minute joint session from 2–2:30.

  • Upon arrival, moms and girls will split into their own tracks:

    • Girls head upstairs with Mentors for an intro activity from Erin McDermott Jewelry, then jump into an engaging workshop, brunch, and more sessions.

    • Moms follow a parallel schedule with expert-led topics from speakers like Michelle Icard and others, with workshops, and a delicious brunch.

  • Our theme for Mom’s portion of the summit is Identity. We’ll explore this topic from multiple dimensions:

    • Keynote by Michelle Icard: Beyond the Mom Title

    • Discussion with local gynecologist and pediatrician moms: Battle of the Hormones: Dr. Moms’ Tips on Navigating the Teen vs. Mom Hormone Collision

    • Small group workshop sessions on finding alignment and personal resets that work best for us when life gets chaotic

This time is dedicated entirely to you. Take what you need, leave with helpful tools, and gain a few more women in your corner who truly get it.

  • Girls will have a transformative day:

    • They’ll be welcomed by their Mentors and begin with a creative project: one to take home and one to give back

    • After kickoff, Mentors lead conversations on fear and self-worth

    • Workshops and a second creative project over brunch guide girls through identifying their values and the power of their voice

By day’s end, they leave MOSAIC owning their tenacity, confidence, and voice.

  • Yes. Girls participate in age-based groups of 7–9, each led by a trained mentor. A short survey after registration helps match girls to their mentor.

  • Our Mentors are incredible young women in or recently out of college. Be sure to explore their stories HERE!

Each Mentor is paired with 7–9 girls of similar age and stays with that group throughout the day. While girls will meet all Mentors, they’ll form a deeper bond with their own, continuing with monthly check-ins for six months after the summit through Zooms, emails, and shared stories.

  • Yes, but only from 2-2:30. Those who come together have a guided closing 30-minute conversation where girls share highlights and moms receive prompts for continued connection on the ride home. Those who come solo leave at 2:00.

  • We offer tiered sponsorship levels designed to partner with organizations that share our mission and values. We also welcome personal sponsorships from those who feel inclined to help make the day a success with direct impact on the experience of girls and moms in attendance.

Please note that MOSAIC does not have 501(c)(3) status.

  • Because of the preparation of content and purchase of food and materials for the summit, we generally cannot refund your registration. You may have a friend take your place, and under rare circumstances we may provide credit toward a future event. Please contact us immediately to share your circumstances and we will work with you as best we can. We understand schedules are busy, but we are focused on building lasting skills and insights that go beyond a single game or lesson — and we’d love for you to be part of it.

  • For nearly two decades, I’ve had the privilege of coaching girls—on the field and beyond. What began with a whistle and a lacrosse stick has grown into a lifelong mission: helping girls believe in themselves, trust their voice, realize what is possible and feel confident in who they are.

Since 2012, I’ve led the Girls Lacrosse Program at Charlotte Country Day, guiding our team to 11 state championship appearances and 6 titles. I additionally owned and operated the largest girls lacrosse club in North Carolina for 12 years, mentoring hundreds of young athletes and their families through every stage of growth—from middle school to post-collegiate.

Yet the wins that matter most don’t show up on a scoreboard. They show up in the quiet moments of courage when a girl tries something new, has the confidence to speak up, the strength to lead, and the power of knowing she is pretty amazing and absolutely enough. And so, in 2023, I created KB Coaching - a mindset and leadership coaching business for girls and young women.

Through coaching, I am fiercely committed to providing a safe and supportive space for girls to trust who they are and cultivate their goals and aspirations - where they’re heard, guided and challenged. As a mother to three young children, two of them girls, my focus has only intensified: to nurture tenacity, to build confidence, and to know that their voice is vital.

  • For over 13 years, I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside girls at every stage of development as lacrosse players — from five-year-olds picking up a stick for the first time to high school seniors ready to step boldly into their next chapter. Through my roles as a coach, director, coach development trainer and board member in the world of lacrosse, I’ve witnessed incredible transformations. I’ve seen the moment a girl realizes how strong she really is—and that moment changes everything. I’ve watched hundreds of girls grow into confident, capable girls armed with tools they’ll use far beyond the field.

Through my career, I have also had the honor of working within the Olympic Movement, helping prepare for Rio 2016, PyeongChang 2018, and the road to Tokyo with a first hand view of the lives of the athletes they work with. Those experiences solidified what I already knew deep down: growth is universal. Whether it’s on a global stage, in a neighborhood park, in circles of friends, or within the walls of a classroom, the same tenacity, power and confidence help people rise everywhere.

Building confidence. Nurturing a tenacious spirit. These things take time—and the truth is, the work is never really finished - but you have to start.

Now, as a mother to my one-year-old daughter, Vinnie, this truth feels even more profound. In so many ways, being a mother mirrors what I strive to do every day as a coach: help girls uncover their voices, build those big important life skills, and grow as confident, contributing, young women of our communities.

  • As the founder of Growing Our Girls (GOG), I strive to help moms and daughters grow closer, stronger, and more grounded, together. With a background in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from NC State University and the University of Georgia, I spent a decade in corporate HR consulting and leadership development, helping organizations build resilient cultures and strong teams.

Today, I bring that same focus on growth and grit to my work with mothers, reminding women that leadership begins at home and that raising confident girls requires equal parts tenacity, self-awareness, and grace. Whether your daughters are athletes, artists, or still discovering their passions, I believe every mom deserves the tools and community to model strength from the inside out.

Through Growing Our Girls, I’ve helped families cultivate confidence, compassion, and connection, partnering with local clinicians, educators, and community leaders to support women and girls alike. When I’m not facilitating workshops, you can find me on a long walk with coffee in hand or on the sidelines of a soccer or softball field cheering on my daughters (ages 13, 10 and 8), reminding myself, like every mom, to slow down, stay present, and keep growing.

At the MOSAIC Summit, I will guide the Moms’ track: creating space for women to reflect, reset, and build the same inner tenacity and self-trust we hope to nurture in our girls.
